Théo Jack Scherer is a visual artist, photographer and poet. His photographic work focuses on contemporary spaces and environments.
By surveying the cityscapes, in the manner of the flâneur, he reveals the mysterious and intricate link between geography and psychology. Sensitive to atmospheres, he is fascinated by the idea that the physical world, our environments, affect us mentally and emotionally.
He feels close to shifts in perspective operated by the avant-garde of the 1930s : the Surrealists and the New Vision photographers.
In short, his artistic practice is an exploration of the poetic potency of spaces and images.
